ABOUT ME

Hi my name is Violet!

I’m a 12-year-old ballet dancer and the founder of Granny Pliés. I dance on a pre-professional dance competition and ballet team and love performing, but what I love even more is sharing dance with others.

Granny Pliés was inspired by my great-grandma, and now I get to bring ballet to seniors in a way that feels fun, gentle, and joyful.

A few things about me:

• Favorite style of dance: Ballet! I work not only in my studio to practice, but with many different amazing coaches, and a lot at home on my own too.

• Favorite part of Granny Pliés: Seeing granny dancers smile.

• Fun fact: I love performing the same dances over and over if it makes someone happy!

• Future Goals: One day I hope to dance ballet on a very big stage and share my love for my art.
